University of Cambridge Fund for International Students 2020 | HOW TO APPLY – The Anthony Wilkin funds are initiated by the University of Cambridge to attract smart and intelligent students from different parts of the world who wishes to pursue their higher education in the United Kingdom. This award is available for the 2020/2021 academic session.

About the University of Cambridge Anthony Wilkin Fund for International Students

The Faculty board of human, social and political science offers students a chance to apply for the Anthony Wilkin Studentship in Ethnology and Archaeology, and it is granted to the student directly from the Anthony Wilkin Fund. The main purpose of the Fund is to increase the encouragement of the research in Ethnology and archaeology.

For the studentship, preference handed out to students who have acquired honours in the Archaeological and Anthropological Tripos. or the student has been approved for the award of the degree of master of philosophy having followed a course under the supervision of the degree committee for the Faculty of Human, social and political science.

For grants, preference would be given to current Cambridge graduate students; postdoctoral fellows and scholars affiliated with the University of Cambridge who is looking forward to pursuing research in Ethnology or Anthropology or Archaeology. The value for the individual awards includes both grants and studentship and will be decided to be the management committee after all applications have been reviewed.

Eligible Candidates or Students are expected to apply for the University of Cambridge Anthony Wilkin Fund for International Students within Monday, 2 September 2019 to Saturday, 30 May 2020. Anything past this dates the application would not be possible. The result date for the application is Tuesday, 30 June 2020.

Applications are required to be sent to Anna O’Mahoney via this link administrator@arch.cam.ac.uk and it should be nothing pass the 30th of May. Letter of reference should be sent directly to administrator@arch.cam.ac.uk by referees, and it is to be sent no later than 30th of May (two referees for a studentship, and one for grants).

Additional Eligibility Criteria

  • For Grants, current Cambridge graduate students; UTOs, postdoctoral Fellows and Scholars affiliated with the University of Cambridge looking forward to pursuing research in Ethnology or Anthropology or Archaeology are offered preference.
  • Available Full time.

Amount

The maximum value for the award is £100, while for the maximum value it is £500. And, how long the award is for is not available.
